What You Need to Know
About the recall:
From our family to yours, we want you to know that we take the quality of our products very seriously and apologize to our fans for this situation. Please know this recall only affects a very limited number of PLANTERS® 4 oz. Honey Roasted Peanuts and 8.75 oz. PLANTERS® Deluxe Mixed Nuts sent to two retail locations in five states. Only this very small amount of product was affected.
IMPORTANT: There have been no reports of consumer illnesses. No other varieties or dates of PLANTERS® products are included in this recall.
Where the affected product was shipped: Publix distribution warehouses in Florida, Georgia, Alabama and North Carolina and to Dollar Tree distribution warehouses in South Carolina and Georgia.

Here’s everything you need to know to see if your PLANTERS® product is part of the recall:
Step 1:
Verify that your PLANTERS® product is one of the affected UPC numbers. Check the UPC code on the side of the canister or packet. If the UPC code is 2900002097 or 2900001621 please continue to step 2.
Step 2:
The production code information is on the bottom of the canister or printed above the nutrition facts on the packet.
Step 3:
If your package has a different “BEST IF USED BY” date than what is listed below, it is not part of the recall.
Step 4:
If your package has the following dates for the corresponding UPC, it is part of the recall.

Step 5:
You can discard the product or return it to the store where purchased for an exchange.
